Hobart Streets wants you to submit Sign Spots — places around Hobart that you think could do with a wayfinding sign to help guide pedestrians & cyclists.

Wayfinding signs are really important — you can read all about them in this idea.

If you’re out and about around Hobart and you see a spot where a wayfinding sign would make things clearer for pedestrians and/or cyclists (or if you see a good wayfinding sign):

  1. Snap a photo of the spot
  2. Submit the photo using this form — we’ll add it to the crowdsourced collection and let the councils know.

Sign Spot 8

Multiple streets branching off Macquarie Street in South Hobart — for example Wynyard Street.

The change here is more subtle but equally worthwhile. These streets are signed ‘NO THROUGH RD’. This is true for cars but not pedestrians & cyclists who can access the Rivulet Track.
